Please have a look at the sample questions online at StoryCorps<http://storycorps.org/great-questions/>, and conduct a brief interview of two or three (2-3) of your classmates.
A few guidelines and requirements for this exercise:
√ typed interview notes: 100-200 words (±) per interview [200-400 words (+) total]
√ emailed to the classmates in your writing group (cc: jweinstein at vwc dot edu)
AND
√ submit via Web Form Here (to ensure course credit!)
NB: You may find it useful to make a audio recording (i.e. via cell phone voice memo, mp3 recorder, etc), but this is NOT an acceptable substitute for good notes*, so please be sure to make note of the questions you ask and the interviewee’s responses. (*For starters these audio files sometimes get accidentally deleted . . . )
Please use the comments section of this page for discussion of the assignment only. You should NOT post the notes from any of your interviews here, as this is a public forum.
